Adventures in Country and Western Dancing

We are not dancing at the Waxter on Thursday due to the July 4th holiday. See you next week, when Ruth will be instructor/dj.

I will be teaching “Country Rhumba,” a fun and not-so-hard 40-count partner or line dance. Lesson starts shortly after 6 pm - be there!

Congratulations to Jackie on a great debut. There was a nice size group last night to welcome her as the newest instructor to our Thursday night staff roster. She reviewed the couples dance Dancing Backwards, as well as the new hot line dance Crazy Foot Mambo (for video click here).

Dances danced last night included Bosa Nova, Start to Sway, Working It, Dizzy, Cupid Shuffle, along with the usual West Coast Swing, Two Step, etc.

Tonight at the Waxter Jackie is making her debut as dj/host. She will play your requests, as well as review some of the recently taught line dances, including the newly popular Crazy Foot Mambo. It starts at 8 pm ish - see you there!
